Bucais' in the final.

Aug 23, 2008 - Without a doubt there will be a Bucais in tomorrow's Junior 9-Ball final as brothers McEarl and Marc are in the upper bracket final. Which one of them that gets to the hot seat is yet to be determined.

This time last year it was Marc that took the call and finished up as Junior Champion after defeating McEarl in the lower bracket semi.

McEarl defeated Nick Morel in the semis and Marc defeated Tommy Theriault. Nick and Tommy now await the outcome of 4th round lower bracket matches.

There was an error in the women's lower bracket 4th round. Denis Belanger advanced to the lower bracket 5th round with a 9-8 score over Veronique Menard.

In Women's 9-Ball Denise Belanger mounted a 4 match charge in the top half of the lower bracket to take her to the 7th round. Grace Nakamura did likewise in the lower half of the draw. They will continue their match tomorrow for a spot in the lower bracket final.

Ronnie Wiseman continued his run in the lower bracket, winning 3 matches and has the best lower bracket record with 5 wins under his belt. He will now face Shannon Ducharme after his wins over Stan Tourangeau 9-8, Erik Hjorleifson 9-6 and John Morra 9-7. In the top half Edwin Montal overcame Eric Hildebrand 9-5 and Jason Klatt 9-7. Montal is up against Andrew Aupin in tomorrow's lower bracket eighth round.

Mario Morra and Alain Martel won their matches 11-5 and 11-6 over Andrew Aupin and Shannon Ducharme to advance to the upper bracket final of the open division.
