Robidoux tough to beat.

Alain Robidoux and Floyd Ziegler
March 8, 2009
Kirk Stevens, Alberto Camara, Floyd Ziegler, Cliff Thorburn Jonathon Sun, Rodney Cuiellerier, Claude Bernatchez and Alain Robidoux advanced in Saturday's quarter's.
The day was completed with Alberto Camara, Floyd Ziegler, Rodney Cuiellerier and Alain Robidoux advancing to Sunday's Semi-finals. In those matches Camara won by a 5-3 score over Stevens, Ziegler 5-2 over Thorburn, Cuiellerier 5-1 over Sun and Robidoux 5-2 over Bernatchez.
On Sunday both Semi-finals went to a 5-1 finish.
Ziegler won four straight before Camara recorded his first win. Frames three and four could have went either way with Ziegler potting the final pink in both cases. Ziegler closed the match at 5-1.
After four frames Robidoux led 4-1, losing the fourth frame to Cuiellerier after having won the first three. The sixth frame advanced Robidoux to the final.
The final went to a 6 nil finish proving Robidoux is tough to beat in his home club or anywhere else for that matter. The last time Robidoux lost in this event was in 2005, when Bob Chaperon came out on top of an 11th deciding frame.
The best two tournament breaks of 114 and 91 also were recorded by Alain.
