Scott Soroko passed away at the start of this year's Canadian Cue Sport Championships, an event he wouldn't have wanted to miss. He was very passionate about his website shooterville.com and at every chance he had could be seen buzzing about taking pictures and gathering information to keep his site current with Canadian and International pool tournaments.
A memorial tournament in his honour will be held this coming weekend.

"My lifetime friend, Scott Soroko, put together a site that provided up to date Billiard information for players and for the fans of the sport. In a very short time it was the "Go to Site" across Canada. It is with great pride that we have formed JACCS in honour of Scott so that his contribution to the game and his support for juniors will always be remembered" quoted the President of JACCS, Don Broos.
JACCS will provide funding for Juniors across Canada to participate in the Canadian 9-ball Championships and will also fund their trips to future World Junior Championships. The Scott Soroko Memorial Tournament will be the first fundraiser to assist JACCS in their goal
